Our Mission
1) Improve autopsy, placental pathology, and genetic sequencing rates in stillbirth to drive answers for families and enhance research efforts to understand causation of stillbirth to ultimately drive down it’s prevalence.
2) Enhance awareness of stillbirth and the comorbidities with the greatest risk of it
3) Create best practices for the prevention, management, and prenatal care after stillbirth. Educate patients on these so that they can receive a higher standard of care during and after their pregnancies. Disseminate these across hospital systems and providers to create centers of excellence in stillbirth.
4) create opportunities for families living with child loss of all types to share their child’s life and work with the world after their physical departure from Earth
Our First Project
We are currently in the planning stages of creating a physical loss memorial where those in the community can interact digitally with the stories and work of children who have passed on. Families of child loss remain some of the strongest, deeply authentic and brave people we have known. We seek to create ways to enable them to tell their children’s stories and continue their legacies for years to come.
